VICTOR KAMINSKI for 9th Ward Linden Councilman
Vote for me and I promise to do my best to save Linden from the self-serving politicians entrenched in our city making city workers fear for their jobs and prioritized with serving themselves. I will make this city's secretive dealings public and transparent again. I will make your voices matter again.
"True Values Never Fade"
Justice - Safety - Integrity - Honesty - Transparency - Reform
Help Victor Kaminski become your voice at city hall. Together we can save Linden's Quality of Life and turn around the plans of the Mayor and Council members to sell it off to developers and drug dealers and packagers with no benefit to the taxpayers.
We can improve our traffic situation, our education system, concentrate on infrastructure improvements, address the rising crime issues, and the out of control tax and spend mentality... They even want to bring back the garbage tax!
Don't allow another Armstead appointed "Yes Man" Alfred Rodriguez to join "his team" and a chance to ruin Sunnyside more than they already have. See my site for info.
SAVE LINDEN!
For a Better Quality of Life:
VOTE for VICTOR KAMINSKI and Donate Today to help me get elected.
The mayor is funding Alfred Rodriguez campaign using his out of city Livingston based PAC to pay for Alfred Rodriguez campaign with dark money and donations from developers and those he is selling the city off to bit by bit, along with city taxpayer funded events and mailings (see the postage stamps). Don't let another "yes man" allow this corruption at city hall to continue.
Linden shouldn't be a business controlled by the Armstead or any Family as it is today.
With your help, we can win our city back before it's too late. I appreciate your generous contribution and remember to VOTE! and Please make a donation today to help me cover the costs and get the word out.

Can I count on you to make a critical gift to my campaign of $5, $10, $25, $100 or more to stand with me today?
I am a lifetime Linden resident. I have lived here through good times and some really bad ones as well. In my early years growing up on Zeigler Avenue in Linden at the PNCC (Polish National Catholic Church) rectory which my father Rev. Stephen S. Kaminski helped build up and run for years before retiring from the parish to help form others get established around the country. My parents bought a house relocating the family to Linden's 9th ward in the Sunnyside section of town.
Victor attended school #6 before relocating to Deerfield School #9 after the move, which was right around the corner from his house. Today Deerfield is no longer a part of the 9th ward. It has long since been moved to the 10th ward.
After attending Linden High School, Victor's education through the years included attending DeVry for electronics engineering, then Lincoln Technical institute for Automotive engineering, followed by computer programming, and web development courses at Fairleigh Dickinson CCI (Computer Career Institute). Victor paid for his education by working full time in multiple jobs working as a security guard for several firms.
Victor began a career in 2004 in the real estate industry which led to opening his own brokerage in 2006, two of them actually, one a traditional brokerage firm, the other a real estate referral agency, followed by starting a real estate school with his then wife, unfortunately that relationship didn't work out.
Victor still owns and operates the two brokerages and real estate school to date as the principal. Prior to working in real estate Victor helped open the Linden Pizza Hut when it was first built, he was an Automotive Technician at Linden's Goodyear which has since relocated, followed by working in the Security industry for decades for Engelhard industries at multiple locations with Motivated Security Services and Pro-Tech security. Victor mostly worked at Engelhard sites guarding their intellectual property against industrial espionage, precious metals, and their headquarters building mainly at their Iselin labs and Headquarters in Iselin, NJ. Victor worked as a Computer Technician for Siemens and Hoffmann-La Roche pharmaceuticals and Mainframe computer operations tech at The Wiz stores HQ in Edison until Cablevision relocated their computer operations to Bethpage, Long Island.
Victor is a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 65 Metuchen. He was a founding member of the charitable motorcycle Riders club that raises funds for our nations hero veterans, police and other first responders, charities like Tunnel to Towers, multiple children's charities, veteran's and local causes as well. By hosting activities and events like motorcycle rides, comedy shows, and picnics, as well as representing the American Legion in parades in several municipalities and performing more solemn duties like funeral escorts (1, 2, 3, 4) of recovered veteran's remains as they are transported back home with official touching ceremonies the public often never sees, paying respects at our lost hero's and their families funerals, and other functions as well (1, 2, 3, 4). The American Legion Riders post 65 has annual fundraising motorcycle rides for Tunnel to Towers, Rolling Thunder for Vietnam Memorial and works with Toys for Tots charity for children.
Victor is also a member of the Edison Moose post 1978 which is also forming a similar riders club for charitable motorcyclists to help raise funds for the children's charity Mooseheart which provides stable homes for orphaned children.
Victor is a skilled pool player with the APA, TAP, Southern Jersey Shore amateur leagues and has played in national tournaments in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, and Las Vegas. This is a sport that builds character, sportsmanship, requires a lot of patience, skill and strategy.
Victor has a history of philanthropic activities such as donating his time, money, and creating and attending fundraising events for good causes. His leadership skills drive to improve lives keep Sunnyside's 9th ward and all of Linden for that matter safe and affordable. Victor believes in smaller government with less intrusion in our personal lives without additional red tape and taxation while maintaining the quality of life without drastic changes to the community which are key in his strategy and motivation to run for City Council as we witness greed, and self-serving power struggle in this once great city.
Let's make Linden Great Again!
Victor has friends of all ages, colors and nationalities, family members as well. He believes in community and people who help each other and look out for one another. Like most he worked hard for everything he has and believes everyone should have that opportunity to work hard. Most people that know Victor from Linden trust and talk with him, sharing information about our community that most are unaware of before it becomes public and it's too late to do anything about.
That's why transparency and honesty in government with a balance of power to slow the out-of-control development drastically changing the City of Linden is important. Victor is more aware of what is happening in the city than he leads on. This helps him learn more and gain an advantage.
"God gave us two ears and one mouth,
We should use them in that same proportion"
If you would like to save Sunnyside from the developers and mayor who most are unaware is selling Linden out in ways they never imagined, wanting to now turn Sunnyside into an urban community (densely populated area), changing the landscape of single-family homes into apartment complexes, multi-unit buildings, adding marijuana packaging factories and distribution centers all over the city that do not contribute to lowering your taxes one bit.
If you would like to help Victor save Sunnyside from that, it is important to Vote for Victor Kaminski on column "B" in the upcoming election and get your friends and family in the 1st ward to vote for Oberson Bazil for an even better chance at leveling the playing field and saving Linden sooner.
After Armando Medina left Linden, others have been trying to ride his coattails, even by falsely claiming he groomed and trained them or were long time friends and business associates like Alfred Rodriguez has been doing (unless the Mayor has been doing it for him). Unfortunately Mr. Medina has kept silent on that publicly but has expressed how upset he is about that with his friends.
Victor is an independent thinker, not beholden to any person, party, or special interest, a claim recently repeated by Alfred Rodriguez despite being appointed by the mayor and voting "Yes" on every issue the mayor wanted him to. He's a "Yes" man as Victor called him out to be.
Victor's only reason for running is to stop the madness and quick decline of the city if at all possible and wants to know what the residents find most important and entertain solutions to those issues as your voice within city hall to advocate for you, the taxpayers.
Victor is open to your suggestions and wants to hear from you, so we can set attainable goals to address the most important issues and concerns the residents have, and to bring up others you may be unaware of.
You can submit your concerns and questions now via the contact form on this very website.
We now have an independent that tossed his hat in the ring to run for 9th ward council that is a registered democrat and held the democrat "party member" position for the last 5 terms including now. Victor has spoken with him and he does seem like a nice guy, discussing with Victor that they had some of the same goals, however Victor has more support and a better chance to get things done and is more aware of other issues going on within the city.
The Mayor selling out Linden and allowing it to go downhill.
Mayor Armstead's hand-picked chosen candidate he has been pushing with phone calls, mailers using taxpayer funds. Alfred Rodriguez seems to have voted 100% in lock step with the mayor for anything he wants over the months since he has been serving as Linden's 9th ward Councilman, at least for those meetings he chose to attend. Linden doesn't need a yes man for 3 more years that will be missing in action when your need a voice to advocate on your behalf. Let's bring the issues to the forefront, focus on them, set goals and solutions to the problems that the residents find most important.
Please donate to Victor's election fund to help pay some of his campaign expenses to represent your interests. Tell your friends and neighbors why it's important to Vote for Victor, and most importantly, get out there and Vote to Save Sunnyside with a Vote for Victor Kaminski and vote straight down column "B".
See the rest of the information Victor would like to share with you on this site. Some very important issues most residents are totally unaware of happening in Linden right now.
As a long-time multiple-business owner and educator, Victor knows how to problem solve and negotiate with others, while giving priority to the most important issues.
Victor Kaminski knows how to work with employees, independent contractors, as well as dealing with government bureaucracy and those who learned to manipulate it and the people they are supposed to be serving.
The voter, the taxpayer, those people are the real bosses, and Victor understands this deeply and will never lose sight of that, having the deepest respect and conviction for our constitutional republic, willing to do what is necessary to defend it while fighting for you.
Political party affiliation shouldn't make a difference at the local levels on the hot button topics, since we're dealing with local issues and not big national ones, why not vote for Victor Kaminski for 9th ward council, even if you are a Democrat and Victor is running as a Republican, he still wants your support as he will represent everyone's interest.
The only difference is funding to get the politically connected preferred candidate into office or hold a position. Victor isn't getting any funding from the Republican party and all the expenses have been paid out of his own pocket thus far. Wouldn't you please consider donating to Victor's campaign fund. You can do that by clicking on the Donate links on this site but don't expect special treatment if you do, just fair and honest dealing and someone who as they should advocate on your behalf.
Tackling the hard issues without backing down to political pressures from long-term politicians too comfortable in their positions to worry about how their actions affect you.
Victor is willing to work amicably with everyone toward a common goal while putting aside differences for the greater good of our community and the City of Linden.
Victor has a history of charitable work, fundraising for good causes to help children, veterans and our community as a whole.
Transparency is very important to keep things on the level. Victor Kaminski is aware how much over the last few years the city of Linden has greatly restricted how people can voice their concerns at public meetings and worse yet how they are looked upon as a nuisance rather than their concerns taken seriously which should demand attention of your elected representatives. Calling them leaders is the first mistake.
Victor's website LindenRep.com will regularly keep the public updated with happenings within the city and not just the 9th ward, these issues are things that affect your taxes and quality of life.
Victor will publicly disclose, the closed door, behind the scenes political maneuvers and plans of the entire city council, mayor, etc.
Victor Kaminski will work to create a pothole reporting and tracking system to address roads in dangerous condition and disrepair from reporting, to scheduled repairs, to who did the repair and when among addressing other issues that have fallen to the wayside in off-election years!
Look no further than our crumbling roads that only seem to get the paving and repair just right before that city council ward's election. Is it just coincidence that roads in Sunnyside in the worst condition neglected for years are suddenly being repaved right now just two months before the early voting for elections begin?
